YTS-61 Tenor Sax value

I have a Yamaha YTS-61 sax with serial #1798. I know that this is one of the first tenor saxes that Yamaha built, and it is a well playing instrument. Other than that I have no idea how to value it. I've seen similar models running from 400-2900 dollars. So where is the value? I purchased mine for $500 and I think that was a deal because the horn has no major defects. I'm looking to sell it but I do not want to get ripped off either.

Well, i think i had a yamaha 61 back in 1977-79. Please take a digital picture of the sax ,
then download the photo into the computer.
Then choose a couple good shots of the Sax , and send it in an attachment,ending with .jpg.
Example YTS-61.jpg . .. e-mail me your name and phone number , and i will call you back ., with an opinion . Maybe i will make you an offer. manythanks , Murray
