Tenor
by: Malcolm

If you can play the clarinet, or are already a musician, the soprano or alto frequently have more difficult, but rewarding, parts in ensemble music.
If you have limited sight-reading experience, and want to play in ensembles, then go for baritone or tenor.
Since you want to play the tenor, why not start on tenor? Many people do. Learning on the instrument you want to specialise in will be a great incentive to develop a beautiful tone.
