Strasser Marigaux Alto Saxophone

I have a Strasser Marigaux alto with the serial number 11,xxx. From everything i have read this places it in the year 1954. I am thinking about selling it but it definitely needs new pads at a minimum. It is in very good condition otherwise. There are very few scratches and small dents. There are quite a bit of flowers on the bell, very pretty. It has been sitting in my closet for at least 20 years because i didn't know what it was worth. I am wondering if it would be worth it to have it fixed before I sell it?
