Starting Saxophone

by Mitchell
(South Dakota)

I haven't ever really played an instrument before and I was looking over saxophones to buy and I noticed things like rocking tables. I was wondering what sort of features I would want to begin with? What sorts of thing would it be handy to learn with?

What sax
by: Anonymous

To be honest, if you want to play then pick a type (alto tenor etc) and go for it. the best bet would be to rent a decent sax for a while and then if your really into it and committed then uprgrade to a better instrument or your own.

Rent an instrument

I think that you should rent an instrument until you find out which instrument you like, and also, what instrument sound best with a more advanced technique and tone.
