How do you keep your saxaphone from sounding like it is spitting or how do you keep the water out?

You just need to suck the spit out of the mouthpiece. Sounds gross but that's what you do. I'm a professional saxophonist. Have fun.

Keep it clean

wipe the excess saliva from the reed using your finger

I wet only the tip of the reed in a small jar and wipe the excess off with my fingers. If it starts to sound spitty then I dry the inside of the mouthpiece with a paper towel. This has helped a lot and I rarely have the problem now.
