Saxophone trouble - This is really frustrating!!

by Emma
(Boston,MASS,USA)

Dear saxophone question site,
I just got a saxophone (it's used) and it was playing fine for about 20 minutes, then I stopped playing and packed it up. I had to move the case somewhere so it got banged around a little, and when I picked it up to play it again, all the keys sounded the same and no matter what I tried (re-wetting the reed, switching reeds, screwing the head on tighter) all the notes came out the same! Please, when you find time, answer my question!

-Emma

It is possible that a key has been knoked out of place or spring may have come loose. you can take it to a repair shop to get it looked at and they can tell you whats up
