P.D. Deposee Saxophone

by Sam
(Indiana, United States)

I recently found an old saxophone at an antique shop, and the women was nice enough to just give it to me. I Have no knowledge of this kind of sax though. All I know is that it is designed to be a reed less saxophone, and it was made by a french man known as P.D. Deposee. I would love to know more about it, but I have searched everywhere and cannot find information on it. If you can find out anything about this saxophone it would mean so much to me.

all saxophones require a reed in order to produce tones by the vibration of a reed. it may be just an elaborate cazoo, in other words something you hum through. i doubt it is an actual saxophone.

need for a reed

You can't have a reed less saxophone...there's a reason its called a reed/wind instrument...my guess is that its just a spoof off a sax and not a real one at all...
