Mystery Sax - M.P.S. Flügel Modell

by Rem
(New Hampshire)

I found a saxophone in my grandparents' attic. It has to be at least 20-25 years old by the things around it, has a logo on the side that says M.P.S. over a crest that contains the words Flügel Modell, and bears no other identifying marks besides the etching on the front of the bell.
I believe it was my mother's starter sax, but I have no idea what brand it is since searching for it brings up nothing relevant. Any thoughts?

Brand Name?

An acquaintance showed me a baritone with the name "Liberty" on the bell.
Can't find that one either

Same question!

I have an ancient B-flat trumpet with exactly the same markings, and have also been trying to find out its provenance - without success.
