Lark Saxophone

Hello,

I am looking for information about an old brand saxophone: Lark.
A friend of mine had one hanging over the fireplace.. HAD.. it is still working (beautiful low C tone), needs some repair and I got curious about this Sax!
Was this a "good" brand?Where in the USA was it made? etc etc
Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands!

Lark Alto, Eb
by: Cosmo

My cat wants out but its raining in NC. I purchased a silver plated alto from a pawn shop in Spring Lake, NC. It had not been played in a while because it sat on a shelf. I have been playing sax for 39 years and have never played a horn that sounds this sweet with balls. I have played Mark VI's from Baritones to sopranoes and always felt like there was an old sock in the bell. The serials are Shanghai, China M4012 #10 and CL 012. Anyone having any info...woodw1nd@aol.com
