just for fun

It is possible to do so in most cases just for fun. However, keep in mind that you will be playing in a totaly diferent key. I don't recomend to do that if you find a nice piece that you like. If all you have in that piece is for alto, try getting it transposed to tennor instead.

alto music for tenor
by: Alyssa

Most Altos are in Eb. A Tenor is in Bb. Different keys. You can play it for fun, but not with a band. You CAN, however, play clarinet music and, I believe, trumpet music, with a band. Both are in Bb.
