Armstrong saxes - made in USA or Mexico?

by Anthony Bristow
(Newark, UK)

I have just bought a Pre-owned alto with a six digit serial number starting with 25. It is immaculate, but the metal edges of the case are dull and oxidised, suggesting that it has been stored a while. The sax and case both look like the picture in the Armstrong sax article on this website.

There is a little pre-delivery inspection card in the case, which is stamped:
Inspected by T.Rios
Tested by O. Gradillas
Cleaned by M. Cervantes
Packed by C. Sinohui........
Code J29HG

Does anyone know where this sax was made please, and when? Those names to me sound Hispanic in origin (not Chinese).
