Transpose down a perfect fourth
by: Neal

The alto saxophone is pitched a perfect fourth above the tenor saxophone. So a Eb on alto is a Bb on tenor. So if you play every note on the alto saxophone music down a perfect fourth, then you will be in the right key for tenor.
